Ukraine's Defense Forces have the potential to completely destroy the Crimean bridge, but Russia is not currently using it to move weapons and ammunition.
Head of the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU), Vasyl Maliuk said this during a national TV marathon.
"Currently, the Russian Federation does not use the Crimean bridge to supply weapons and munitions at all. Before our successful strikes, 42 to 46 trains, carrying weapons and ammunition, passed through there per day. Today there are 4-5 (trains) per day - this is passenger traffic, and one train is carrying consumer goods," said Maliuk.
He added that cars drive across the bridge in reverse, and their weight should not exceed 3.5 tons.
"Now the Russian Federation is working to fully restore this bridge. The pillars and the so-called "bulls" on which they stand are now damaged there. When they [Russians] restore them, perhaps they will start pulling their ammunition again, then, in fact, we will say "hello" to them once again. Everything has its time. Let's not rush things," Maliuk emphasized.
Earlier "Apostrophe" reported that SSU arrested a church chorister of the UOC (MP) in Zaporizhzhia, who was guiding the occupiers' missiles at the positions of the AFU.
