Polish farmers are blocking three directions on the border with Ukraine: Rava-Ruska, Yahodyn and Uhryniv.
This was announced by the spokesperson for the State Border Guard Service, Andriy Demchenko, during a TV marathon.
In all of these three directions, Polish farmers do not allow trucks to enter Poland at all. They let only a few trucks per hour into Ukraine.
Demchenko noted that the Yahodyn checkpoint is the largest infrastructure area on the border of Ukraine and Poland. It can handle 1200-1400 trucks per day, but only 70 trucks arrived in the direction of Ukraine over the past day.
According to him, as of the morning of April 4, about 400 trucks were queuing at the blocked checkpoints.
There are also queues at the unblocked checkpoints: 500 trucks are waiting in line at Krakivets, 450 at Shehyni. Traffic in these areas is intense, but there are queues because of the blocking of other checkpoints.
Earlier, Polish farmers organized nationwide protests, blocking roads and intersections with tractors.
