Combat medic Sandra Andersen joined the International Legion after the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. She is now the wife of a Commander Jabari.

The 37-year-old Sandra Andersen Eira joined the International Legion of Territorial Defense along with hundreds of foreign volunteers in March 2022. Previously, she lived in northern Norway, near the border with Russia.
Sandra's unit was the first in the International Legion that was deployed to the northern districts of Kyiv and helped liberate them. She took part in the battles near Bucha and Irpin, and then was transferred to the southern front of the country.

Our beloved DSR, our Mastiffs.. Friends from other companies, battalions and brigades. My family is in the video. Marrying the love of my life in the middle of the war. God, I love these people so much..And my husband, my team, through war and peace, always. It was perfect," commented Sandra.
The 32-year-old Ukrainian soldier and the 37-year-old combat medic met on the front line during heavy fighting.
