The Armed Forces are already using Western weapons, but there is no parity with the enemy yet: the situation at the front

Despite the start of military aid, there are still not enough shells and it is too early to talk about parity with the enemy.

This opinion was expressed by the Head of the Press Service of the 26th Brigade, Oleg Kalashnikov, on the air of Apostrophe TV.

According to him, the enemy is storming Ivanivske and Klishchiyivka. The Russians made certain advances, but were pushed back by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in some positions. Thus, the enemy is not making significant progress. Similarly, despite the use of assault groups of elite troops in Chasiv Yar, the enemy army has no success.

"Now the enemy started to use more armoured vehicles. They have also intensified the use of unmanned aerial vehicles, which cause significant damage. There can be 30-40 arrivals per day. It is difficult to counter them. The main way is to destroy the carriers. When attacking, the enemy uses artillery at maximum capacity. However, this is no longer the amount needed for an offensive of this scale," the military said.

According to Kalashnikov, the Kharkiv operation has two main goals: it is intended to distract the Ukrainian Armed Forces from the main directions and establish a 20-kilometre buffer zone on the border. At the same time, he is convinced that there will be no storming of Kharkiv.
