Occupiers hit Odesa Region with missiles: people injured, infrastructure damaged

On Friday, May 17, Russian occupiers attacked Odesa Region with missiles. The shelling damaged civilian infrastructure objects and injured people.

The Head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration (RMA), Oleh Kiper, reported this on Telegram.

According to him, a massive fire broke out in Odesa district at the site of a missile hit. There is damage to civilian infrastructure.

According to the information about the victims: preliminary, five residents were injured, three of them seriously.

"So far, we know about five victims. Three people with injuries were hospitalised, two more were treated on the spot," the Head of the Odesa RMA said in a statement.

It is worth noting that at 4:22 p.m, an air alert was declared in the region. Kiper urged residents of Odesa and Odesa district to stay in shelters until the alarm was cancelled.
