On June 7, a series of explosions occurred in the temporarily occupied Luhansk, causing communication problems and smoke from a fire.

Telegram channels started to share videos of a thick column of smoke rising over Luhansk. They write about a missile attack, and a series of explosions in the city. It is noted that two missiles were allegedly shot down.
Russian Telegram channels estimate that at least six ATACMS missiles were allegedly used in the attack. As usual, the Russians note that most of the air targets were destroyed by Air Defense Forces. However, they also later reported that at least 20 people were injured in the attack.
Another Telegram channel noted that the blue building of the Volodymyr Dahl East Ukrainian National University had smashed windows.
It was also reported about communication problems in Luhansk. Eyewitnesses indicated that a fire broke out in the area of the Sharp Grave (memorial complex). Locals heard the sirens of fire trucks.
