On June 13, the enemy took bombers to the skies to launch a night attack on Ukraine. The Russians used 31 airborne weapons. Air Defense Forces eliminated 24 air targets overnight, and anti-aircraft combat work continued in 7 regions of Ukraine.
This was reported by Air Force Commander, Mykola Oleshchuk on his Telegram channel.
He notes that on the night of June 14, the enemy attacked Ukraine using the following air weapons:
- 10 Kh-101 / Kh-555 cruise missiles from Tu-95 MS strategic aviation aircraft - launched from the Saratov Region;
- 3 Iskander-M ballistic missiles - launched from the temporarily occupied Crimea and Krasnodar Region;
- 1 Kh-47M2 Kinzhal aerial ballistic missile - launched from the airspace of Tambov Region;
- 17 Shahed-131/136 strike UAVs - the launch area is Yeysk.
In total, the Air Force commander indicates that Russia used 31 air attack weapons for the missile and air strike - 14 air-launched and ground-based missiles and 17 attack UAVs.
"Fighter aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Force, mobile fire groups, and electronic warfare equipment of the Ukrainian Defense Forces were involved in repelling the enemy air attack," Oleshchuk said.
He points out that the military managed to destroy:
- 7 Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles;
- 17 Shahed-131/136 attack UAVs.
A total of 24 air targets were shot down in 7 regions of Ukraine:
- Khmelnytsky,
- Kharkiv,
- Mykolaiv,
- Odesa,
- Zaporizhzhia,
- Dnipropetrovs'k,
- Kirovohrad.
