Due to the massive attack on Ukraine on the night of Wednesday, June 12, Polish forces took aviation to the skies.

Thus, the Armed Forces Operational Command of Poland reported on the flights of military aircraft in the southeast of the country in connection with the nightly Russian attacks on Ukraine.
"Tonight, we are observing the activity of the long-range aviation of the Russian Federation, which is striking with cruise missiles and Shahed type UAVs at targets located, in particular, in western Ukraine," the statement said.
Poland noted that the last time such activity in the western regions of Ukraine was observed on the night of June 6-7.
"All the necessary procedures to ensure the safety of Polish airspace have been activated, and the Armed Forces Operational Command is constantly monitoring the situation," the military added.
