Stolen childhood - Ukraine returns another group of children from Russian occupation

Ukraine returned seven more children from the occupied communities to the government-controlled territory. The children lived in the temporarily occupied Kherson Region.

This was reported by the Head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration (KRMA), Oleksandr Prokudin on Telegram.

"I am sharing another good news - seven more children have been returned from the temporarily occupied communities of Kherson Region," the official wrote.

He noted that three boys and four girls were returned to the territory of Ukraine. The youngest child is only four months old, he said.

"The kids are between 4 months and 13 years old. They have overcome a long and difficult journey. The main thing is that the children are now safe and receive all the help they need," said Prokudin.

As you know, about 19 thousand children were forcibly taken to Russia's territory. This issue remains one of the most important. A special working group is responsible for it. The Office of the Ombudsman of Ukraine cooperates with international organizations, including UNICEF.

Earlier, we wrote that 161 Ukrainian children abducted by Russia were found in Germany.
