On the night of April 18, the enemy once again launched groups of Shahed UAVs at Ukraine. Drones flew over Ukraine all night, explosions were heard in several regions. As of the morning, an air raid alert is continuing in western Ukraine.

It is worth noting that as of 06:38 a.m., air alert remains in several western regions, namely: Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi, Khmelnytskyi, and Ternopil regions.

Kyiv Region
Monitoring channels reported a Shahed UAV at 00:01 a.m. on the border of Poltava and Cherkasy regions, heading towards Kyiv Region. However, later it was reported that the drone changed its direction to Chernihiv Region - at 00:50 a.m. it was moving across the Kyiv Reservoir in the direction of Dymer. Later, it was also noted that several UAVs flew towards Zhytomyr Region, indicating the vector of movement towards Radomyshl.
Several local Telegram channels wrote that explosions were heard in the Kyiv Region. Probably, the air defense system could have been working on the targets. No alert was announced in the capital at night, so we should wait for official information.
Khmelnytskyi Region
The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine wrote on its Telegram channel about a UAV heading in the direction of Khmelnytskyi at 02:10 a.m. Later, they clarified that the drone was headed for Starokostiantyniv. At 02:27 a.m., Suspilne correspondents wrote that explosions were heard in Khmelnytskyi. Local publics indicated that it was air defense. The alarm in the region began at 01:57 a.m. and lasted until 02:30 a.m.
At 06:02 a.m., the AFU Air Force reported another group of Shaheds on the border of Khmelnytsky and Ternopil regions, heading west. At 06:34 a.m., the attack UAVs continued to move through Ivano-Frankivsk Region, heading for Kolomyia and Ivano-Frankivsk. At 04:58 a.m., the air alert was again announced in the region, and as of 06:38 a.m., it is still ongoing.

At 06:53 a.m., Suspilne correspondents reported the sounds of explosions in the city. It is worth noting that at 06:14 a.m., an air alert was announced in the region, which continued in the morning.
