Another oil depot attacked in Russia - this time in Tambov Region

On Friday, June 28, the UAV attacked an oil depot in the Tambov Region of the Russian Federation. The attack took place at 4:35 a.m. local time.

This was stated by the Governor of the region Maxim Yegorov.

According to him, the drone hit an oil depot in the Michurinsky district. The attack caused a fire, which, according to the authorities, has already been localized. Yegorov added that the nearest settlement is three kilometers away and that residents will be evacuated if necessary.

In turn, the Russian Defense Ministry reported 25 downed drones.

"Over the past night, air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 12 UAVs over the territory of the Bryansk Region, 9 UAVs were destroyed over the territory of the Smolensk Region, one UAV was destroyed in the Voronezh Region, two - in the Kursk Region, and one UAV was intercepted in the Rostov Region," the statement said.

Earlier, Apostrophe reported that drones attacked a military airfield, a refinery and an oil depot in Russia.
