Iran's missile attack on Israel is possible in the coming days. Washington has promised to support Israel in the event of an Iranian attack.
Bloomberg writes about it.
According to the publication, citing sources who wished to remain anonymous, a potential attack, with the possible use of precision-guided missiles, may happen in the coming days.
"It's more a matter of when, not if," one of the sources said, based on US and Israeli intelligence estimates.
According to Bloomberg's sources, Israel's Western allies have been told that the Israeli Government and military facilities may be attacked, but civilian facilities will not be targeted.
However, according to Bloomberg, foreign diplomatic missions are already preparing for possible attacks by drawing up emergency evacuation plans.
"They’re threatening to launch a significant attack in Israel. As I told Prime Minister Netanyahu, our commitment to Israel security against these threats from Iran and its proxies is iron clad. Let me say it again, iron clad - all we can to protect Israel’s security," said U.S. President Joe Biden.
In addition, as reported by the US State Department, Secretary of State Antony Blinken contacted Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant and assured him that Washington would support Israel in the event of an attack by Iran or its proxies.
Earlier, the Israeli army used a naval analog of the Iron Dome for the first time.
