"Even penguins, according to Trump, were trading unfairly with the US": a financier told what a global trade war would lead to

The introduction of tariffs by the United States "for all" countries would likely lead to a global financial crisis.

Ukrainian financier and blogger Serhiy Fursa wrote about this on his Facebook page.

" Trump imposed additional tariffs on two islands inhabited exclusively by penguins. At the level of 10 percent. On the one hand, it is good that Trump considers penguins his friends. On the other hand, even these penguins, in Trump's opinion, were engaged in unfair trade with the United States ," he noted.

Recall that the list of new tariffs includes the uninhabited Heard and McDonald Islands in the southern Indian Ocean. They are inhabited by large populations of penguins, seals, and seabirds.

" This is all you need to know about the fundamental basis for tariff calculations that have started the world's largest trade war and will most likely lead to a recession and a global financial crisis ," says Fursa.

" America's Liberation Day has come. The day of liberation from common sense. And it happened a little earlier than April 2. Now Americans will have 4 years of liberation from excess money. Because you have to pay for the pleasure of having President Trump. And this, as is known, is unique, beautiful and the greatest pleasure in the world.

Unfortunately, only Americans elected Trump, and everyone will have to pay. Unless the penguins feel it , "wrote the financier.

In the comments, he wrote that, in his opinion, Ukraine will not impose a mirror duty on American goods.

As Apostrophe reported, many countries have already reacted to the US introduction of new customs tariffs.
