Russian paramilitary men from Wagner Group were killed in Africa: Russia reacted to the CAR statement

The Central African Republic (CAR) announced the murder of the Russian PMC Wagner’s fighters. The Russian Ambassador to the Central African Republic reacted to the statement, as was reported by Corbeau News.

On February 10, a truck with "Wagnerians" was crashed near the city of Bambari.

The anti-government Coalition for Change says they took one soldier as a hostage and killed several others.

The Red Cross and Doctors Without Borders organizations confirmed that the bodies arrived at the local morgues on the day of the clashes. However, the organizations did not reveal further details.

In turn, the Russian Ambassador to the CAR said that none of the Russian soldiers was captured or killed, calling the information fake.

Reminding, that Russia sent 300 military instructors to the country in December 2020, at the request of the CAR authorities.

According to “Apostrophe”, in 2018, ten PMC Wagner fighters were identified as involved in the murder of three Russian journalists in the Central African Republic.
