"Putin and I get along very well": Trump made a statement about the end of the war in Ukraine

Former US President Donald Trump, after winning the primaries in Iowa, said that he "gets along well with Putin" and will solve the situation with the war in Ukraine very quickly.

He made this statement in Iowa.

So, Donald Trump said that he is able to negotiate with Russian President Vladimir Putin, because they have "good relations".

"Putin and I get along very well. That's a good thing, not a bad thing. If fake news became real and honest news, 90% of our problems in this country would be solved. The situation in Ukraine is terrible.... And we're going to solve it, we're going to solve it very quickly," Trump said.

He is convinced that he will be able to engage the presidents of Ukraine and Russia in a dialog.
