France has broken coronavirus mortality record: death toll rises to 1100

The number of deaths from COVID-19 has exceeded 1000 in France, as reported by the local media with reference to information from official national sources.

Thus, according to journalists, the total number of deaths among patients diagnosed with coronavirus in France has reached 1100. The coronavirus has killed another 240 people in France on March 24.

22,300 people had been tested positive for the virus in France, taking third place in Europe by the number of patients with COVID-19.

As of today, 10176 patients are hospitalized, and 2516 of them are in critical condition. According to the French Ministry of Health, 3281 people have recovered.

At the same time, Italy takes first place by the number of COVID-19 infected in Europe, being followed by Spain.
