Another Czech citizen was sentenced for the participation in the war in Donbas

In the Czech Republic, another militant of the-called "DNR" was sentenced to twenty years in prison. This was reported by the Novinky news agency.

Pilsen Regional Court The court considered 27-year-old Lukáš Novaček for 20 years guilty of involvement in the preparation of a terrorist attack and active participation in the activity of the organized crime group in Donbas and sentenced him for 20 years,

The case file notes that Novaček arrived in the Donbas in July 2015. There he joined the ranks of the so-called "DNR" and began to take an active part in the Russian-Ukrainian war.

In addition to participating in hostilities on the territory of Ukraine on the side of the separatists, who are regarded as organized criminal groups, Novaček was accused of active involvement in the preparation of the terrorist attack.

This was confirmed by several witnesses to whom the suspect told about his participation in the Russian-Ukrainian war. According to the court, these people did not know each other, but at the same time revealed the same information, which confirmed its authenticity. Later, the convict was also pleading guilty.

It's worth noting that according to the medical report Novaček received psychiatric treatment due to the problems with mental health after the participation in was. This became another proof of his active involvement.

Many other pieces of evidence like footage, photos that show Novaček with the weapons and military form were presented in court. One of the videos captures him claiming he wanted to fight the Ukrainian "fascists" and saying that he is ashamed to see what Ukrainians "do with the civil population".
