The problem will disappear today: Tusk announced the unblocking of military and humanitarian cargo at the border

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk promised to solve the problem of the blockade on the border with Ukraine.

This was reported by TVN24.

Tusk said that border checkpoints with Ukraine, as well as sections of roads and railway tracks will be added on the list of critical infrastructure. He noted that the work of border and customs checkpoints will be changed.

"This also means a different type of administrative regime at checkpoints and on access roads to the border with Ukraine," said the Head of the Polish government.

According to Tusk, this is "a matter of the next few hours." He emphasized that Warsaw is working to restore the full capacity of the checkpoints, as it concerns military and humanitarian cargoes for Ukraine. Their route goes through Polish territory.

"This decision should provide a 100 % guarantee that military and humanitarian aid will arrive in Ukraine without any delays," the Polish Prime Minister said. According to him, "it is very important that the Ukrainian side and our allies know that the Polish state fulfills everything necessary in this matter".
