Mobiks' wives were given a "warm welcome" near the Kremlin: video of detentions

On Saturday, February 3, Russian law enforcement officers used force and dispersed the rally under the Kremlin, which were organized by the wives of the mobilized soldiers.

"Apostrophe" collected all the relevant information in one article.

According to the SOTA project, the "500 Days of Mobilization" rally was organized today in Moscow, which was attended by the wives of mobilized Russians. Security officers used force not only against women, but also against representatives of the international mass media who decided to cover the protest.

The detentions began near the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Moscow. After the protesters, along with the wives of mobilized men, left Alexandrovsky Garden, they were followed by law enforcers and unknown men in masks. At least 20 detained journalists were taken from Red Square to the "Kitay-Gorod" police station. Not only representatives of Russian media, but also representatives of foreign media, such as France Press and Spiegel, are being interrogated by law enforcers.

Later, according to SOTA, detentions began near Vladimir Putin's election headquarters on Pokrovka Street. Correspondents claim that law enforcers snatched random people from the crowd.

"When will our husbands, who have been in hell for 16 months, be returned to our families? And on what grounds are they being held there indefinitely," Maria Andreeva listed the questions that the wives of the mobilized addressed to the Head of the Kremlin.

After a while, the SOTA project reported that law enforcers did not allow lawyers to visit the detained women and journalists. Cell phones have been taken away from the "detainees" and they forbid them to receive packages from volunteers.

The project "OVD-Info" at 1:58 p.m. Kyiv time specified that an employee of the state media and three minors were released from the "Kitay-Gorod" police station. Soon the law enforcers plan to release other journalists, but persons with the status of "foreign agent" will remain in the department.

According to the latest data, law enforcers detained about 30 people.
