Biden promised Ukraine to help fight corruption and oligarchic influences

The administration of the U.S. President Joe Biden will hand over the official data on investigations against Ukrainian oligarchs to Kyiv.

This statement was made during Espresso's interview with Daniel Fried, former head of Europe and Eurasia affairs in the U.S. National Security Council.

"We will hand over the data of our investigations to the representatives of Ukraine so that further work will take place with you. I very much hope that President Biden will influence the leadership of Ukraine in such a way that these investigations are carried out in a good faith," Fried said on air of a Ukrainian TV channel.

He also said that the new U.S. presidential administration intends to block "dirty" financial flows entering the States. The former head of Europe and Eurasian Affairs in the National Security Council also added that specialists need to trace the sources of fraud that were carried out through the American banking system.
