The reason why Russian President Volodymyr Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky did not meet during the G20 summit in Osaka is now known.
It was informed of in the Foreign Relations Ministry in Japan.
“The President of Ukraine is not on the list of invitees of the summit. Neither the Foreign Ministry nor those responsible for the summit’s preparation have information on the President’s (of Ukraine) arrival to Japan” the department said.
As reported by “Apostrophe”, Putin has previously reacted to a date to meet Zelensky. The Kremlin also questioned the possibility of holding a meeting.
Nevertheless, US President Donald Trump will meet with Russian President VVolodymyr Putin at the G20 summit, which will be held in Japan in late June.
