The Ukrainian Minister made the controversial statement about the residents of the isolated districts of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions

Minister of social policy Andrii Reva spoke quite harshly about the people who live in the occupied territories.

In the video, which was published by air force journalist Olha Malchevska, Reva said that all pro-Ukrainian residents of the occupied part of Donbass have long left the region.

"And those who want to receive two pensions - there and here – let them put up with it. I don't feel sorry for anyone. Absolutely. I'll be honest with you. I feel sorry for those soldiers and officers and their families who were killed there. For those who were killed for these bastards.

It’s not Ukraine that behaves with this way. To stop these people suffer the war should be ended. To do this, the occupiers have to get out of the territory of Ukraine and all," the Minister said.

After that Reva tried to specify what he actually meant.

"I would like to clarify: I did not say that I did not feel sorry not for those people who crossed the line of demarcation with great difficulty – that is what I am accused by propagandists, but I spoke about those who did not do this because of fear of meeting with Ukrainian law enforcement officers. These are people who kill our soldiers and officers, these are people who actively helped invaders and called for Putin, hoping according to Olena Stepova "to live a rich life", and now they are going to receive the Russian passport in hope of the double pension payment announced by invaders. I really do not feel sorry for them," he said.
