Ukraine’s Security Service and Prosecutor General’s Office do not have any legal claims against the participants of the corruption scandal in the defense industry Oleh Hladkovskyi, Ihor Hladkovskyi, Vitaliy Zhukov and Andrii Rogoza, as concluded from official responses of SBU and Prosecutor General’s Office to our correspondent’s request.
According to the Department of Information and Analytical Support of the Security Service of Ukraine, “Apostrophe” was informed that, as of July 10, Oleh Hladkovskyi, Ihor Hladkovskyi, Vitaliy Zhukov and Andrii Rogoza were not suspects in the investigated criminal proceedings.
Prosecutor General’s Office has also added that the NABU and the State Bureau of Investigations are the ones managing the information on people involved in the corruption scandal.
As reported by the journalists of “Nashi Hroshi” (“Our Money”), father and son Hladkovskyi and business partners of Hladkovskyi Jr. Vitaliy Zhukov and Andrii Rogoza are a part of corruption schemes in the defense industry, which allowed them to make at least 250 million UAH. Oleh Hladkovskyi is now the head of car corporation “Bohdan”.
As “Apostrophe” reported earlier, all investigating institutions that had to work on the corruption scandal failed to do so, closing cases instead.
