The starting price of the license for the organization of gambling business in Ukraine is planned to be set at the level of UAH 30.6 million in Kiev and UAH 20.3 million in other cities.
The amounts, which will cost the purchase of the license, are specified in the text of the bill, which appeared on the website of the Verkhovna Rada on Thursday, October 24.
The Law on State Regulation of Activities in the Sphere of Organization and Conduct of Gambling assumes that the initial annual fee for the license for the electronic auction should be no less than the amount equivalent to 18,700 times the monthly subsistence minimum for gambling establishments in Kiev and 12,400 - for casinos in other settlements. That is, if from December 1, the living wage will be 1638 UAH, the license for casinos in Kiev will cost 30.6 million UAH, and in other cities - 20.3 million.
In addition, the bill establishes an annual fee for each license for a game table with roulette - 730 sizes of monthly living wage, for other tables - 375 sizes. The annual fee for each slot machine license will be the equivalent of 15 times the monthly subsistence minimum.
