A new bill, scheduled for a vote in Parliament in January, would require men living abroad and eligible for conscription to undergo "identification" in the TRC.
This was reported by a member of the Verkhovna Rada’s Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence, Vadym Ivchenko on air of the Radio Liberty, program "Freedom.Morning".
"If a person is abroad, for example, he must also pass this identification, and if he doesn't pass, it means that there will be consequences. One of the consequences, that this person won't be provided with consular services- if the passport will be expired, no one will provide a new one. He won't be able to do consular services in the form of a power of attorney," - said the MP.
According to him, the banking identification will also require a document. In case of its absence, bank cards can be blocked.
