Ukrainian Defense Forces units blocked the Russians who broke through to the town of Krasnohorivka in Donetsk Region. Enemy assault groups are cut off from ammunition supplies.
This was reported by the Spokesperson for the Khortytsia Operational and Strategic Group of Forces, Lieutenant Colonel Nazar Voloshyn
"The enemy broke through into the town with small assault groups and settled on the territory of the refractory plant. Thanks to the efforts of our units, in particular the 59th Brigade, the enemy was blocked and is still there," said Voloshyn.
He added that the enemy groups are currently cut off from ammunition supplies.
"Our defenders fully keep Krasnohorivka and the outskirts of the settlement under fire control. Over the past day, the defenders destroyed about 30 enemies on the approaches to Krasnohorivka," said the Spokesperson.
According to him, the enemy is conducting assaults near Netaylove and is trying to storm the eastern part of Pervomayske.
"They are also coming in small groups near Nevelske, counterattacking, and our soldiers are dislodging them," added Voloshyn.
