Ukraine and Israel have reached important agreements: details

On Monday, August 19, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and the Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu reached important agreements, as reported by Volodymyr Zelensky’s press service.

Particularly, the leaders signed the Memorandum of Understanding between Ukraine’s Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food and Israel’s Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, as well as the agreement between Ukraine’s Ministry of Education and Science and Israel’s Ministry of Education. They also signed the Program of Cooperation in Education, Culture, Youth and Sports between Ukraine’s Cabinet and the Government of Israel for 2019-2022.

Moreover, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Ukrainian Ministry of Economic Development and Trade and the Israeli Patent Office of the Ministry of Justice.

During the talks, Zelensky noted that Ukraine would take into account Israel's experience in security and defense matters.

Ukraine and Israel have also agreed to finally resolve the issue of mass refusals to Ukrainians crossing the Israeli border.
