Russia's fleet goes into a passive state: how the Defense Forces changed the situation in the Black Sea

Ukraine continues to reduce the enemy's presence, particularly at sea. Yesterday it became known that the patrol ship "Sergey Kotov" was liquidated. Therefore, the Russian occupation fleet is forced to switch to a passive state of action at sea.

Natalia Gumenyuk, a Spokesperson for the Operational Command "South", told Apostrophe TV how the enemy fleet acts at sea and how it compensates for this in the air.

She emphasizes the following:

"The Russian occupation fleet in the Black Sea is now in a passive state."

Gumenyuk notes that the ships are at their home bases:

"There is one ship unit in the Sea of Azov, which Russians, using their temporary control over the occupied areas, consider their internal waters."

Emphasizing the constant attacks of the Defense Forces on Russian ships, the Spokesperson mentions the damage to the ship "Sergey Kotov". She also adds that this makes it difficult for "...Russians to gather intelligence, and without this it is difficult for them to plan massive missile strikes on our territory."

However, she points out that the enemy is trying to compensate for this "by terrorizing with strike UAVs."

"The strike on a high-rise building in Odesa, which resulted in deaths and destruction, once again showed that the enemy is constantly modernizing drones and is also constantly looking for ways to bypass our Air Defense systems by launching "Shaheds" from different directions," Humeniuk said.

She also emphasizes that Odesa and the region are for the enemy "a training ground for practicing their "innovations", so it is so important not to ignore the air raid alert and go to shelter in time."

We will remind you that earlier we reported that hospital in Sumy and a gas pipeline in Odesa Region were among the targets of the Russian drones during a nighttime attack.
