Ukraine needs more air defense systems: Russia launched 400 missiles and dropped more than 3,000 KAB bombs in March

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that in March 2024 alone, Russia fired 400 missiles of various types, more than 600 Shahed drones and more than 3,000 guided aerial bombs at Ukraine, emphasizing the need for more air defense systems for Ukraine.

This is stated in a post by Volodymyr Zelensky published on the official Telegram channel.

He pointed out that in March 2024 alone, Russia used more than 400 missiles of various types against Ukraine, and the number of Shahed drones exceeded 600 units. In addition, the enemy also dropped more than 3,000 guided aerial bombs in March.

"Different cities and villages of Ukraine are suffering from this terror, and Russia is particularly brutal in its attacks on the frontline territories and border communities," the President of Ukraine comments.

In particular, he mentions the regular shelling of Kharkiv with missiles, drones, and bombs:

"Our Kharkiv, a city of more than a million people, has been hit by missiles and drones since the first day of this war. Now Russian terrorists are also using air bombs against Kharkiv. This is daily abuse and pain, daily losses in the city. Critical infrastructure is destroyed, ordinary residential buildings are being destroyed every day."

Given the constant attacks by the enemy against Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky notes that "all this will not happen when Ukraine receives reliable air defense systems that can save the lives of our people and return security to our cities."

He points out how the US Patriot air defense systems help Ukraine defend itself against Russian terror: "Patriots in the hands of Ukrainians have proven that all forms of Russian terror can lose. And this is necessary - necessary for our Kharkiv and all other cities and communities whose lives are now under Russian attack."

Earlier, we told you how many missiles and "Shaheds" Russia has launched at Kyiv since the beginning of the year.
