This morning, on March 25, explosions were heard in Kyiv - at least three powerful blasts were reported, and Kyiv was attacked with hypersonic missiles.
Vitali Klitschko wrote about the explosions in the capital.
"Explosions in the capital. Urgently take shelter!" he said in a message on Telegram.
Klitschko noted that emergency services were called to the Pecherskyi, Solomianskyi and Dniprovskyi Districts of the capital: "The units are on their way."
At 10:29 a.m., the Kyiv City Military Administration (KCMA) wrote that an air alert had been declared in the capital. However, already at 10:31 a.m. the Head of the KCMA, Serhiy Popko, added:
"The air alert continues! Air defense is working in the capital. Stay in shelters until the air raid alert is over!"
Telegram channel "Mykolaiv Vanek" wrote the following: "...it flew from Crimea to Kyiv".
RBC Ukraine also reported about the explosions in Bila Tserkva.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine note that Kyiv was previously attacked with Zircon hypersonic missiles from Crimea.
According to preliminary information from the KCMA, as a result of the missile attack on Kyiv, debris fell in the Pechersk District, and a residential building was damaged: "Operational services are on their way to the scene. The data is being clarified".
The KCMA also noted that debris had fallen in Solomyansky and Dniprovsky districts.
Some public media reported that a residential building in the Novopecherski Lypky neighborhood was hit. Eyewitnesses also informed that there might be people under the rubble.
