Germany provided Ukraine with a new package of military aid, including armoured vehicles, ammunition and various equipment.
This was reported in German Government.
In particular, the new aid package for the Armed Forces of Ukraine included:
- ammunition for tanks Leopard 1;
- 8 APCs (type not specified);
- explosive ordnance disposal materials;
- 25 RQ-35 Heidrun reconnaissance drones;
- 50 SatCom satellite communication terminals;
- 5 border security vehicles;
- 1,840 combat helmets;
- 500 LED lights;
- 3 vehicles (type not specified);
- 16 Zetros tanker trucks.
In addition, as noted, in the near future Berlin plans to provide Kyiv with:
- 20 Marder BMPs;
- 15 self-propelled anti-aircraft systems Gepard;
- 124 RQ-35 Heidrun reconnaissance drones;
- 660 combat helmets;
- 1,500 LED lights;
- 24 Zetros tanker trucks;
- 20 Zetros refrigerated trucks.
As the Government notes, most of these supplies are weapons purchased directly from industry. Only a small part of what is listed is transferred from the Defense Ministry's own stocks.
