The failure of the German Bundestag to provide Taurus missiles to Ukraine doesn't mean that this issue will not be revisited.
Ukrainian MP Yehor Cherniev explained the news about the refusal of German Bundestag to provide Taurus missiles.
He wrote about it in Facebook.
As noted Cherniev, the bill was rejected not on its merits, but because of the violation of procedure and an attempt to use this for narrow party PR.
"It turned out to be simpler than that. It was a separate bill from part of the opposition, which it wanted to bring to a vote without agreement with others. The bill was rejected not on its merits, but because of a violation of procedure and an attempt to use it for narrow party PR. The plan to bring a common bill of all factions to the Bundestag remains in force," Cherniev wrote
He added that the vote is expected to be held before February 22.
We will remind, the deputies of the Bundestag failed to vote the initiative of the opposition, to provide the Armed Forces of Ukraine long range, air-to-ground cruise missiles.
Earlier "Apostrophe" reported that German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr) are preparing for a military conflict with Russia.
