New weapons and security guarantees: what Zelensky and Tusk agreed on in Kyiv

Polish PM Donald Tusk promised to provide further assistance to Ukraine in war against Russia.

This was reported by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

During a visit to Kyiv, the parties managed to agree on a new defense package for Ukraine.

"There is new form of cooperation aimed at larger-scale arms purchases for Ukrainian needs: a Polish loan for Ukraine," said Volodymyr Zelensky.

In addition, Poland joined the declaration of the G7 countries on "security guarantees" for Ukraine. This was announced by Polish Prime Minister's Office.

Warsaw will also support the rapid accession of Ukraine to the European Union and NATO. In turn, Zelensky said that Poland and Ukraine after the victory in the war together will rebuild the settlements destroyed by Russian occupants.

Earlier, "Apostrophe" reported that Volodymyr Zelensky and British PM Rishi Sunak signed a security agreement that will be valid until Ukraine joins NATO.
