We face new challenges: Syrskyi's first statement as Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces

The new Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, noted that there are new tasks for further action on the agenda.

He announced this in his first statement in Telegram already after being appointed to the post of Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces.

First, Syrskyi thanked his "brothers" and "sisters" with whom he had the honor of serving in the ranks of the the "Khortytsia" OSGT.

He further emphasized: "There are new tasks on the agenda. First of all, this is a clear and detailed planning of the actions of all military administration bodies, associations, formations and units, taking into account the needs of the front in the latest weapons that come from international partners."

The new Chief of the Armed Forces believes that the fastest and most rational distribution and delivery of everything necessary for combat units has been and will continue to be the main task of military logistics.

"Knowing all the needs of the front without exception and being aware of the situation in each area is the task of headquarters at all levels. It is the qualification of military command and control personnel that is crucial for the development and successful implementation of ideas and plans," he said.

Oleksandr Syrskyi notes that the life and health of military personnel has always been and remains the main value: "Therefore, maintaining a balance between combat missions and the restoration of units and subdivisions with the intensification of education and training of personnel remains as relevant as ever."

Syrskyi also points to the fact that new technical solutions are being introduced and successful experiences are being scaled up: "...as, for example, the use of unmanned systems, modern means of electronic warfare is one of the future vectors of building victory in our liberation war."

Finally, the message states that only changes and constant improvement of the means and methods of conducting hostilities will make it possible to achieve success on this path.

"I am grateful to the former leaders of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and to the veterans who over 10 years of the Russian-Ukrainian war have made every effort to restore and build the capabilities of the Ukrainian army, a true, solid foundation of our statehood!" - the new Chief of the Armed Forces writes.

Earlier "Apostrophe" informed that Colonel General Oleksandr Syrskyi became the new Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine instead of Valerii Zaluzhnyi.
