NATO Parliamentary Assembly takes important decision on permission to strike inside Russia

The NATO Parliamentary Assembly has called on their governments to give Ukraine permission to use Western weapons to strike military targets on the territory of the Russian Federation.

This was announced by the Head of the Permanent Delegation of Ukraine to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, MP Yehor Chernev.

"We are talking about lifting certain restrictions on hitting legitimate targets deep inside Russia," he said.

According to the MP, this decision was pushed through at the last moment, as the original version of the declaration did not contain this paragraph.

"One of the decisive factors was the support of this initiative by the American delegation led by my friends Mike Turner and Gerald Connolly. Together we have done it. Now, parliamentarians will have legal grounds to put even more pressure on their governments to ensure that the decisions of the NATO PA are implemented," Chernev summarized.

Earlier, Apostrophe reported that the UK will allow Ukraine to strike targets inside Russia with weapons provided by London.
