Poland allows Ukraine to use its weapons on the territory of the Russian Federation

Poland's Deputy Defense Minister Cezary Tomczyk said that Ukraine should have the right to use Western weapons to hit targets in Russia. Poland has no objections to this issue.

This is reported by Radio ZET.

He emphasized that there should be no restrictions, while acknowledging that few countries take this position.

"Of course, the situation looks like Russia is doing what it wants today, and Ukraine is somehow restricted by some countries, and this must stop. The Polish position is clear: Ukraine should be able to fight with the equipment it receives, and Poland has no objections to this. Moreover, we also ask at such meetings that these restrictions be removed," Tomczyk said.

The media reminds that NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg emphasized today that Ukraine has every right to defend itself to attack targets outside its borders. EU Diplomacy Chief Josep Borrell also called on EU member states not to put the fear of escalation above Ukraine's right to defense.

Earlier, Apostrophe wrote that the NATO Parliamentary Assembly made important decision on permission to strike inside Russia.
