On Tuesday, June 25, the US intends to announce a new military aid package for Ukraine. This time, it will include weapons and equipment worth $150 million.
This was reported on social network X by Voice of America journalist Carla Babb, citing an American official.
According to the correspondent, the US is preparing to announce new additional assistance for Ukraine.
The previous package of military aid was announced in early June, worth $225 million. In particular, it included shells for the HIMARS highly mobile artillery system, mortar systems, artillery ammunition, in particular 155-mm howitzers, missiles for HAWK air defense systems, Stinger portable anti-aircraft missiles, and Javelin and AT-4 anti-tank systems.
The provision of new military aid packages became possible after the US Congress approved a new funding package to help Ukraine and its allies in the amount of about $61 billion in April after a long delay.
