Pentagon sees no signs of DPRK engineering troops being sent to Russia

The Pentagon has not yet seen any evidence that North Korea is preparing to send its engineering troops to Russia for the war in Ukraine.

This was emphasized on Monday during a Press Briefing by Deputy Spokesperson for the US Department of Defense Sabrina Singh.

When asked whether the Pentagon has seen any signs that North Korea has sent troops to Russia to support its war in Ukraine, she replied: "I don't have anything for you on that."

She noted that the United States is aware of the DPRK's position supporting Russia's war in Ukraine: "We certainly know that North Korea is supporting Russia's efforts in Ukraine by providing it with various military support, but I have no information about specific troops that are currently being sent to Russia."

Earlier, Apostrophe wrote that North Korea plans to send military construction and engineering forces to the temporarily occupied Donetsk Region.
