The situation at Ukrainian border: Almost 3,000 trucks are blocked

The blockade on the Polish border continues, while truck traffic on the border with Slovakia has been unblocked. About 3,000 trucks are currently standing in queues on the Polish-Ukrainian border (Shehyni checkpoint - about 1,000 vehicles, and Rava-Ruska checkpoint- 850 vehicles).

This was reported by the Spokesman of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, Andriy Demchenko for Apostrophe TV.

According to him, the number of trucks on the border with Slovakia and Hungary has increased due to the situation in Poland. In particular, there are about 600 vehicles in queues on the border with Slovakia opposite the Uzhhorod checkpoint, and about 750 trucks on the border with Hungary towards the Tisa checkpoint.

"We record that certain categories of cargo - humanitarian, fuel, and other important supplies - still cross the border, but I cannot give an estimate that all these important goods for Ukraine needs are allowed to cross without obstacles," the Spokesman concluded.

Earlier, Poland announced that it is ready to unblock the border if Ukraine fulfills their demands.
