Polish strikers threaten to block the border with Ukraine again: new date announced

Polish hauliers threaten to block "Yahodyn-Dorohusk" checkpoint again on Dec. 18, where they stopped the strike on Dec. 11.

This was reported by Speaker of Volyn custom service Valentina Chernysh on the air of Suspilne.

"We'll see how the local authorities will react to this motion. In addition, the strikers still have the right to appeal in court against the preliminary decision to cancel the protest. We can evaluate these risks in every possible way, but we keep on working," she said.

Today, approximately 700 trucks are waiting to cross the border from the Polish side. During the day customs officers authorized 450 trucks to enter Ukraine and 300 to leave the country.

Earlier "Apostrophe" wrote that Polish hauliers don't let trucks from Ukraine again: they came up with an "original" reason.
