The property of the family and related companies of the scandalous Lviv businessman Ihor Hrynkevych, one of the largest suppliers of the Ministry of Defense, has been seized.

"To ensure compensation for the caused damage were imposed arrests on real estate owned by the family of the businessman, premium cars, as well as on the property and accounts of companies controlled by him," - noted in the Bureau.
We shall remind you that the SBI initiated criminal proceedings on the fact of deals with the purchase of clothing and underwear for the AFU. Companies of Lviv businessman won 23 tenders to supply the Ministry of Defense with clothing for more than 1.5 billion UAH. However, it was found that the defense orders were fulfilled by the companies controlled by the businessman, which were previously engaged in construction and didn't have proper production, warehousing and other facilities for manufacturing and storage of clothing. This led to budget losses of UAH 1.2 billion and, consequently, supply disruption.
Ihor Hrynkevych was detained at the end of December 2023 for attempts to pay a $500,000 bribe to a SBI officer. The money was offered for assistance with the return of the property of the companies controlled by Hrynkevych, seized during the investigation of criminal proceedings. Hrynkevich was chosen a measure of restraint in the form of detention with the possibility of bail in the amount of more than UAH 429 million.
