On the 736th day of Russian full-scale invasion, the situation on the war front remains difficult - the enemy is advancing in several directions of the front, but Ukrainian troops have managed to dislodge Russian occupants who broke through to the outskirts of Orlivka.
This was reported by the Commander-in-Chief of the AFU Oleksandr Syrsky in Telegram-channel.
According to him, the most tense situation on Avdiivka and Zaporizhzhia directions. There, Russian assault units are trying to break through the defense of our troops and capture the settlements of Tonenke, Orlivka, Semenivka, Berdichi and Krasnohorivka.
In addition, fierce fighting continues in the areas of Verbove and Robotyne, where the enemy is trying to regain control.
"The success of any battle depends on the quality of planning and how successfully the commander's plan is realized by his subordinates. This is determined primarily by the experience and skill of the commander and commanders, the ability to assess the situation correctly and make adequate and timely decisions. At the level of battalion, company and platoon commanders, the main thing is to ensure the practical implementation of these decisions, to hold positions and destroy the enemy with fire of all means," emphasized Syrsky.
He noted that some commanders had some miscalculations in assessing the enemy and handling the situation, which, of course, affected the results of work in certain areas. In order to avoid similar situations in the future, the Commander-in-Chief took the necessary measures to correct the situation on the ground, with the allocation of additional munitions and materiel resources, as well as the necessary reserves.
"I would like to recognize the courage, resilience and heroism of the servicemen of the 3rd Assault and the 25th Separate Airborne Brigades. They knocked out the enemy who broke through to the outskirts of Orlivka with bold and decisive actions," summarized Syrsky.
