On April 11, the Kharkiv Regional Defense Council decided to forcibly evacuate families with children from frontline settlements.
This was announced by the Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov.
According to him, these are residents of 47 settlements that are located close to the Russian border.
"The Regional Defense Council has just made a decision to forcibly evacuate families with children in 47 frontline settlements," he said.
The official noted that it is only about the settlements that are close to the border with Russia. Specifically, from the following districts:
- Kharkivskyi
- Bohodukhivskyi
- Izyumskyi districts.
"According to our information, 182 children live in these settlements," said Oleh Syniehubov.
The Head of Kharkiv Regional Military Administration also added that the decision will not affect the city of Kharkiv. Emergency evacuation routes were quickly determined and places of temporary residence for displaced people were booked.
