Britain will allow Ukraine to strike targets inside Russia with weapons provided by London

Ukraine continues to receive permission from its foreign partners to strike inside Russia. This time, this opinion was expressed by British Foreign Secretary David Cameron.

This is reported by Reuters.

Reuters quotes the words of the British Foreign Secretary, David Cameron, as saying that Ukraine has the right to use the weapons provided by London to strike targets inside Russia. He pointed out that it is up to Ukraine to decide how to act. In an interview with Reuters, he emphasized:

''Ukraine has that right. Just as Russia is striking inside Ukraine, you can quite understand why Ukraine feels the need to make sure it's defending itself.''

He also promised to provide three billion pounds ($3.74 billion) in annual military aid to Ukraine, reiterating that London has no objection to the use of the weapons provided by London inside Russia.

In an interview with Reuters, Cameron added: ''We will give three billion pounds every year for as long as is necessary. We've just really emptied all we can in terms of giving equipment.''

It is noted that the latest aid package was the largest by the UK for this time: ''Some of this (equipment) is actually arriving in Ukraine today while I'm here.''

Earlier, we reported that the UK is preparing the largest-ever military aid package for Ukraine.
