During Russia's winter offensive, when the US Senate was delaying and postponing aid, Slovenia sent 26 armored combat vehicles (ACVs), three infantry fighting vehicles, and a batch of drones to Ukraine.
This was reported by the Slovenian media outlet 24ur.
It is noted that 20 armored personnel carriers with 12.7 mm machine guns, six armored personnel carriers (APCs) and three more infantry fighting vehicles (IFVs), in addition to the 35 already delivered, and a new batch of drones were sent to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Considering its size, Slovenia has provided Ukraine with a huge amount of military, humanitarian, and financial assistance. In addition to heavy weapons, it has also supplied automatic rifles, ammunition, and helmets. Recently, Slovenia joined the Czech Republic's initiative to purchase 155 mm ammunition outside the EU for Ukraine, for which the government has allocated one million euros.
Earlier, Apostrophe reported that Norway will send Ukraine ammunition worth about €42 million
