A Russian missile attack on Ukraine has killed five people and injured at least 40 others. High-rise residential buildings have been destroyed in several regions.
This was reported by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Ihor Klymenko.
"Kyiv: several fires appeared in the capital as a result of a missile strike - in Sviatoshynskyi, Solomianskyi and Pecherskyi districts. One person was killed, civilians were injured. Two high-rise buildings, a private house and cars were damaged. Kyiv Region: rescuers are working in Buchanskiy district. Two high-rise buildings, a private house, farm buildings and cars were damaged. Three people injured," - wrote Klymenko.
The Mayor of Kyiv Vitali Klitschko specified that 18 people injured as a result of Russian missile attack.
"13 of them were hospitalized, including three children. One 13-year-old boy and four adult victims were treated by medics on the spot. One woman was taken to the intensive care unit and continues to receive intensive treatment. The victim is alive," Klitschko wrote.
The Head of Dnipropetrovsk RMA Serhiy Lysak said that one person died in Pavlograd, another was injured.
"There is one dead person in Pavlograd at this minute. One more person is being provided with all the necessary assistance by medics! He is alive," - wrote Lysak.
Also, Ihor Klymenko reported that the occupants hit two high-rise buildings in Kharkiv. According to preliminary data, three people were killed and about 30 more injured.
The Head of the Kharkiv RMA Oleh Synegubov specified that the number of injured in Kharkiv has increased to 35 people.
"The number of injured has risen to 35 people. Two children of 10 and 12 years old are among them. Five people are in serious condition," Synegubov wrote.
Earlier "Apostrophe" wrote that sanatorium school and the entrance of a residential building were destroyed as a result of Russia's strike on Kharkiv.
