Kremlin propagandists rushed to Mariupol: a new "history" of the war is urgently needed

On the eve of the presidential election in Russia, the occupation authorities of the long suffering Mariupol, with the participation of different "experts" from Moscow, are preparing a series of propaganda materials and events. They are aimed to glorify Russian dictator and justify the aggression against Ukraine.

This was told by Petro Andryushchenko, Adviser to the Mayor of Mariupol, on the air of Apostrophe TV.

According to him, Mariupol often appears in Putin's stories when it comes to open war with Ukraine. Using the example of the city, with which some of the most tragic episodes of the battle are connected, Russian dictator tries to explain to his nation why the so-called "SVO" is needed at all. At the same time, Mariupol in the stories acts as one of the symbols of the war.

"The task of the Russians is to completely distort history, to make the aggressors and criminals look like "liberators". Accordingly, they need a "liberated people" and a corresponding television picture. Therefore, Russian television propagandists are now actively offering to the residents of the city to participate in all kinds of shows, TV programs, interviews and filming of 'documentaries'," Andryushchenko emphasized.

He added that all these propaganda materials, "documentaries" and TV shows are planned to be formally dedicated to the next anniversary of Russian open invasion in February.

In particular, among those addressed were Mariupol Drama Theater actors, who stayed in the city and works for the occupants, "touring" the regions of the Russian Federation itself. In addition, doesn't refuse "cooperation" Maryana, who became the face of the story with the bombing of the maternity hospital.

"So, they have everything they need to write another "history" of the war, which is absolutely false, but completely matches the aggressive Kremlin narratives," - summarized the Adviser to the Mayor of Mariupol.

Earlier "Apostrophe" reported that the situation in temporarily occupied Mariupol remains deplorable - the city has problems with heating, no compensation for destroyed property is paid and there is no work.
