On the night of March 25, the enemy once again attacked the south of Ukraine - an energy facility was was hit in Mykolaiv Region. Two-story building in a residential area was damaged, and 11 people were injured.
This was reported by Colonel Natalia Gumeniuk, Head of the Joint Coordination Press Center of Ukrainian Defense Forces "South", during a TV marathon.
The enemy launched an attack on Odesa and Mykolaiv Regions. Natalia Humeniuk emphasized that the enemy focused on power facilities. Russian drones were concentrating on energy objects. The Air Defense Forces, which worked for over 1.5 hours, destroyed 4 drones each in Odesa and Mykolaiv Regions.
However, Humeniuk notes that in Mykolaiv Region, there was a hit on an energy facility with a subsequent fire, which was quickly extinguished by rescuers. There were no casualties.
She also said that the enemy, in an attempt to determine the priority of targets, targeted residential areas, so the UAVs were flying over residential buildings, which is why even combat work can cause partial damage.
In particular, she points to the following results of the attack: "Debris of one of the downed drones damaged a two-story building in a residential area of Mykolaiv. 11 people were injured. They were provided with medical aid, three were hospitalized."
