The Head of the Dnipropetrovs'k Regional Military Administration (RMA) Serhiy Lysak wrote on his Telegram channel that Dnipro came under fire last night, and air defense was working in the city:

"Dnipro is under missile fire. Our sky defenders are working. Stay in safe places until the end of the air alert."

At 5 a.m., the monitoring channels reported a series of explosions in the city, and then repeated explosions in Dnipro. Suspilne's correspondents also reported explosions in Dnipro at 05:11 a.m., 05:14 a.m., and 05:20 a.m., and wrote about repeated sounds of explosions.

Later, at 06:21, Serhiy Lysak wrote that there was a hit in Dnipro - a five-story building was on fire, it was partially destroyed: "There may be people under the rubble."

"At the moment, preliminary, there are six victims," he said.

In addition, an infrastructure facility was damaged in Kryvyi Rih: "There is destruction in the Sinelnykivsky district. A woman died there."

Lysak said he would provide more information later.

At 06:56 a.m., city Mayor Borys Filatov wrote that the number of victims had increased to 9 people: "The very center of the city. Civilians. There are nine victims. We are following the information from the RMA."

Local channels showed a fragment of a video of a residential building on fire in the city, indicating that the top floor was partially destroyed. Many residents had their window panes blown out. Cars caught fire near the site of the hit.

Monitoring channels note that people may still be trapped under the rubble in blocked apartments. Eyewitnesses said that the residents of the building were calling for help and could not unblock the apartments on their own.

The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported the missile attack at 04:56 a.m. on its Telegram channel. Another message appeared at 05:03 a.m. Currently, the Ukrainian Air Force points to the threat of a Shahed UAV: "Shaheds from Kharkiv Region are heading to Dnipropetrovs'k Region, on their way to Pavlohrad".

As of 06:40 a.m., air alert remains in place in Dnipropetrovs'k and other regions of Ukraine - the Ukrainian Air Force indicates that "the threat of using attack UAVs remains in the regions where air alert has been announced."
