Defense Forces advanced in Krynky: eerie video and battle maps

Ukrainians continue to fight for their independence and recapture the occupied territories - the Armed Forces of Ukraine have advanced in Krynky, Kherson Region, and Russians are trying to succeed in the Avdiivka direction.

Luhansk Region

On Wednesday, April 24, active fighting continued near the settlements of Svatove and Kreminna. However, there was no confirmation of any changes to the frontline in this area.

At the same time, positional fighting continued:

  • northwest of Svatove near Berestove;
  • southwest of Svatove near Hrekivka and Novovodyane;
  • northwest of Kreminna near Nevske;
  • west of Kreminna near Terny, Torske and Yampolivka;
  • southwest of Kreminna near Serebryansky forest area.

Donetsk Region

As of Wednesday, April 24, Russian occupation forces continued to advance in the Siversk direction, northeast of Bakhmut, but there were no changes to the front line.

According to the General Staff of Ukraine, Ukrainian troops repelled the attacks of Russian troops:

  • east of Siversk in the area of Verkhnokamyanske;
  • southeast of Siversk in the area of Spirne and Vyimka.

On April 24, Russian troops continued offensive operations in the direction of Chasiv Yar (east of Bakhmut), but no confirmed changes to the frontline were recorded.

Russian troops continued their offensive:

  • in the area of the Novyi Microraion in the southeast of Chasiv Yar;
  • northeast of Chasiv Yar near Bohdanivka;
  • east of Chasiv Yar near Ivanivske;
  • and southeast of Chasiv Yar near Klishchiyivka and Pivdenne.

According to the Commander of the Ukrainian battalion operating near Chasiv Yar, Russian attacks on Ivanivske last week were unsuccessful. It has also been reported that Russian troops are accumulating forces near Bakhmut to replenish losses and form new assault groups.

Recently, Russian troops confirmed their advance southwest of Donetsk City in the context of ongoing Russian offensives in the area as of April 24.

Geo-located video footage released on that day shows that Russian troops recently continued their advance in the western part of Novomykhailivka (located southwest of Donetsk City).

Russian troops continued to advance:

  • west of Donetsk City in the area of Krasnohorivka and Heorhiivka;
  • southwest of Donetsk in the area of Novomykhailivka and Vodiane.

In addition, fighting continued south of Velyka Novosilka, near Staromayorske and Urozhayne.

South

Recently, Russian troops made some progress in Robotyne amid the ongoing positional fighting in the western part of Zaporizhzhia Region on April 24.

A geolocation video posted on April 22 shows that Russian troops recently marginally advanced in the central part of Robotyne.

Positional fighting continued:

  • in Robotyne;
  • northwest of Verbove (east of Robotyne).

A Russian military blogger stated that the number of ground attacks in the area has decreased significantly over the past few days, but the Orikhivske direction remains active.

Ukrainian troops recently made minor advances in Krynky, Kherson Region, on the left bank of the Dnipro River.

A geolocation video posted on April 24 shows that Ukrainian forces have made minor advances in the northern part of Krynky, confirming that Ukrainian forces continue to hold their positions in the town.

The network also publishes a terrifying video showing what is left of Krynky in the Kherson region. Among the damaged buildings is the estate of Ukrainian writer Ostap Vyshnia. Shortly before the full-scale invasion, the museum was restored, but then it was flooded and now it is half-ruined.
